I think they get angered one way or another by other users and that is how the retaliate, and I think a lot more have been violated or deleted and they get it in their heads that it was one particular person and start reporting them based on assumption

Those offended by whether their answers or questions pass a fear of failure test in relationship to others apparently find gratification in TOS ing others to make their answers and questions more valuable. It is a self esteem issue. I only TOS those who swear. I simply thumbs down the ones who are degrading to my question.

there's a small percentage of users whose life is so very unfulfulled that the most pleasurable thing they can find to do is harm those who are happy.
it's a sad statement on how empty their lives must be.
