Why is the

tag increasing the height of my data cell? Is there anyway I can get around this? I need the form tag.

Which "data cell" do you mean? An < input > field? If so, then you need to apply some styling to the input field: for example:

< input style="font-size: 1em; line-height: 1em; margin-top: .5em; margin-bottom: .5em; padding-top: .5em; padding-bottom: .5em; " ... />

and like that, adjusting font-size, line-height, margin, padding values until you get what you want

The tag has only the name, method and action propertys. By 'data cell' do you mean like a text box? If so to make/edit one of those add/edit the tag.
