My lil sister can not cut car off. No one is around to help her.

The switch is stuck in between on and off. The switch is on ACC. Please help. Just bought new battery. What is going on? She's already tried wiggling the key a lot.

Disconnecting the battery will not shut of the car. Once the car is on, the alternator is generating more than enough electricity to keep the car going.

You'll need to pull a fuse, probably for the fuel pump or fuel injectors to stop the car.

There is a lever on the side of the column that you need to press while shutting the car off.

"DO NOT" disconnect the battery, disconnecting the battery will not shut off your car, you may spark a fire by doing so. My best guess is that you look for your fuse box and relay's and pull the engine relay out and that will shut your engine off. I know its tough but that would be my best guess.

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Prolly black, with a (-) sign on it. Loosen the bolt on the lead clamp, you may need to twist it off the terminal post with pliers.

Get out the car quickly! Or you can turn the key from right to left by forcing it.

You need to do this fast!
