It seems to be the case with some people who work in HR. Especially when it's time for orientation or to do the paperwork. Maybe they're trying to get others excited about working for the company, but I declare, when it's all over, I want to take a nap. Their voice gets higher and higher, and they get more and more excited until my heart beats faster and I think one of us is going to pop.

Yes. Like our trainer at the gym. She's so perky and bubbly and cheerful. While I'm sweating and trying to breathe. Some days I'd like to throw her under the treadmill.

Hey, I resemble that remark. I've been in HR for years, and right now I sit at a front desk. It's that perky bubbly personality that got me this job. I can smile right through rudeness and people behaving in unbelievable manners. That's why HR people are good at helping people work through problems.

Oh yea. My mother-in law says everything as though it's the most important exciting thing ever. I never answer when I see her number on the caller ID, it's just too stressful.

Oh, I know what kind of person you mean ... lol
They CAN wear you out, but they're kind of fun too. I mean, it's hard to be sad when you're around someone who is constantly perpetually happy ... even if it is hard not to laugh at them sometimes. hehe
Actually, I get that way myself sometimes, but usually only when it's late at night and I'm really tired and I'm high on caffeine - 8oP

Always avoid people from HR, no matter what the occasion.
Yes, people like that are draining.
