Do you think this is the start of perimeopause, i'm so worried !

It could be or it could just be that you ovulated later than usual this cycle. If a woman is under a lot of stress then her body usually won't ovulate on time and therefore her period is late. If I were in your position I would give it a week more and see if your period shows. If not, take another hpt.

I'm 39 and have been a week late before, I wouldn't get too upset about it yet, no Dr has told me yet that I'm showing signs of menopause! I would try another test in a few days, if that still comes up negative, then call your Dr for an appt and maybe a blood test, but you might also start in the next couple of days. As my body gets older it gets a little more out of whack all the time.

Are you having any other symptoms of Perimenopause??? As for your HPT test being negative I was two weeks late before I got even a faint positive line.

I get a blood pregnancy test from the hospitla done first to rule it out agian, then get my hormone levels checked to see if it is menopause.
Ask your mom and the women that are related to you when they started menopause. If it's aorund the same age as you are, then it's probably just perimenopause.. But I'd still get the two test I mentioned done, just in case. I think they make you take both,anyways, but in case they don't require you to, I'd ask them to.

Yes it could be the start. Don't worry make an appt. with your doctor and go to the them about it. Your hormones change all the time. They might want to start you on something birth control or what not....good luck

It could be, however I was 26 days late before I finaly got a positive test result...you may have low hormones...

wait two more days or three, try taking the hpt again. Your way too young for menopause.

could just be late, maybe not showing up on test yet, take another in a few days, I just turned 40(ouch) on sat. and Im 6 mths pregnant so of course it could be that too.
