NO, they are attached to your body with muscles and also the tube which connects them to the urethra. They will not fall out, but that would be painful.

Yes,
If you manage to rupture your
scrotum, or "ball sack", your
testicle may very well just
expose, or "fall out"
The scrotum is actually very
thin, and although not all that rare.
when injury with enough lasseration,
to your "sack" you can pretty much bet
that your "boys" will be seeing the light
of day.
The mtv website is from "Scarred" and
that guy was featured on there for missing
a rail he was trying to grind and he came down
in a possition that ripped his scotum open
and exposed his left nut.
The medscape photo is a gun shot to the pelvic
region casuing tesicular exposure.

well, if it actually breaks I imagine they would tend to drop some but the fall would be restricted by the cords that attach the testicles to you. Problem is though, just how do you envision the scrotum breaking?

No. First of all, the sac is made of skin and CANNOT "break." If opened up the testes will not fall out because they are held there by various veins.

Consult a doc but apparently the sac is only another protective cover.
