I hope you do well on depo, a majority of women have some serious side affects from that shot (class action lawsuit affects!). I personally was on it for four years and I'm so glad I'm off of that poison. The negative side affects are horrid.
Your doctor should have told you when to start your depo shot after Marvelon. Call him/her up and ask.

I was on Depo for 9 months, I would NEVER recommend this to anyone. First of all I bled the entire 9 months, no kidding! Now that I'm off it, I have a period, or bleeding every week and a half. Very heavy flow, that puts me in bed for about 4 days. Don't go on it, its not worth it! Stay on the pill!!

I've heard terrible things about the Depo shot and a friend of mine had a lot of trouble with it, I wouldn't recommend it. There are a lot of other forms of birth control available I'd talk to my gyno first about alternatives like the Patch, another Pill, or that new Nuvaring thing

yikes! i wouldn't go on the depo shot. I was on that a couple years ago for 2 years straight. at first it seems great, i mean hey! no periods.....wrong! I would go the first 2 months without it.....but then the month right befor you got the next dose of the depo shot....i would have my period for a straight month. I'd reccomend staying on the pill

Women need a cycle. It cleanses the body from within. It allows to release unwanted things and chemicals. Its a part of life. I am all for medical advances, but not when my health is being brought into play.
