Sorry- sad fact.
Countries like Canada, Singapore, Thailand and many others make a fortune off the mainly American medical refugee- for whom it is cheaper to travel & get 1st class health care elsewhere than to pay insurance and be treated like crap in their own nation.
It's really sad & sick isn't it?
Surely this can't be the America your greatest generation fought for?
45 million without healthcare?
An America for the selfish & super-rich to earn from the sweat and tears of the average hard-working American?
What happened to the shining example of the New Deal America of FDR and Truman?

Commander Bond- we have exactly the same system in the UK and in Australia too- most G8 countries also.
Australia's Medicare is considered the best Commonwealth model.
Surely if it were so dangerous- we'd not adopt such a project?
Would you mind providing a reference? (not disputing you- just I myself am uninformed about Canada's system)

So Singapore hasn't got the latest German and Japanese high-tech equipment that makes US stuff look dated?
Perhaps you having been to both countries know better. I've been to hospitals in the US and Singapore.
Americans are really being lied to if they think they're hospitals are world class. Our worst public hospitals would be considered cleaner than most of your Presbyterian ones.
I know the Jewish ones are brill tho.
