but i dont know how to burn cds my friends do it but i need helpp i have a emachine and its windows vista,, please help

You need software. Try Nero, I'm not sure if it is Vista compatible or not....You make a huge risk when you upgrade to Vista.....I wouldn't even buy a computer with Vista on it right now...I would say..give me XP, because you can always upgrade to it later when the bugs are all out of it...there are bugs everywhere in Vista and its hard to use because the software isn't compatible with it.....

Just copy whatever file you want to the drive that is designated as your CD burner. The operating system (VISTA) knows you want to burn it. It will say you have files that need to be written to a CD - then just click write them to the CD. It is easy.

Start by placing a blank CD in the re-writer.
A window will then pop up showing you what burning programs you have installed on your computer.
Follow the options presented or look for help button for more information

1. Run windows media player
2. Click on Copy to Cd or Device
3. Drag your music file to left list
4. Click Copy button upper right corner
5. Insert blank disk to your cd burner

You need a burning software installed. Nero is one of the best. It usually comes along with the computer. Contact your manufacturer if it is not there on the computer. Use it to burn CD's.
