Shaving will not make hair grow back faster, thicker, or more of it. Not on any part of your body. Hair grows in cycles, so it may seem like it's growing faster, but it's only certain active follicles that are growing. When hair reaches a certain level, it may look like it hasn't grown, but cut it and it will "appear" to grow more. The reason it might look thicker is because of the angle at which it is cut/shaved/etc. No, it's not going to grow out of control.
I warn you, though, it'll itch like hell if you shave it. Try waxing, but don't use depilatories like Nair or anything. That can irritate sensitive skin.

no this doesnt effect pubic hair for some reason but when it grows back oten it irratates a bit and once you have shaved down there you get some red spots after from irratation also when it does grow back as it comes through it feels like little needles stingin through the skin as pubic hair is thick anyway, also a lot of hairs become in grown
horrible stuff really id suggest waxing to be honest

No, it will not grow thicker--that is just a misconception. I have been body shaving( pubes also) for over 10 years. Sometimes I let it grow for over a month, and they are as soft as I remember.
Just shave, and remember also that there are now hair minimizing lotions available that really do work. Being hairy is just a temporary things, being smooth is becoming easeir to do than before (and is geting popular!!)
Hope this helps.

Honestly yes. The more you shave any hair on your body the faster it will grow back. It will also make the hair thicker and more course. I would recommend waxing which removes the hair from the pore and the hair might grow back thinner and softer.

Yes, it will grow back faster and quicker, and thicker!! Also, if you shave outside of the lines..(so to speak).. it will start growing in places it wasn't before.
Good luck!

it will grow back more, faster, thicker and more course. Once you start shaving you will always have to shave or it will get out of control.

nope, you always have the same number of hair follicles you started with. Shaving down there is a very bad idea.
