my sister hates the name holly. man a lot of you hate it, I think it's beautiful. Then my cousin is having a baby boy named Hudson and my Poppy (grandpa) was born in new york so there's the holland tunnel and the hudson river (like his great grand kids) and stop making fun of her name. Yes she was born in Georgia and shes only a baby. My sister gets sad when people make fun of the name. So be nice! if you didn't like it all you had to say was no

Yes, and her brothers name could be Denmark!
addition:
I cannot believe that I got a thumbs down... I really like both of the names that I listed. But whatever.
Best of all, Holland will at least grow up in a family that loves her and her name.
Hudson is a great name.. Very strong, reminds me of classic movies.

I think holland is an ok name, but it kind of makes me think of the place. Its unique, but i think you should go with something like Laura, Lola, or Natalie. Those names arn't used that offten and they are really cute in my oppinion.

Not a great name for a girl - name of a make of tractor over here. If you want a unique name how about Ailbhe (pronounced Alva)

Personally, I think it's beautiful. When I think of Holland, I think of the land of tulips and other flowers. Doesn't matter what I think though.
