Don't swim, just to be on the safe side.

Swimming with a pad ever...is a bad idea. If there's only spotting when you wipe you should be okay. If it's heavier though you may have to try the tampon or pass up the swimming. Periods can be very tricky though. You may be light right now and all of the sudden get a heavy flow again.

Yes, you should have no problem swimming today.

You can actually go swimming without a pad or tampon any day. The pressure from the water on your body will keep the blood in. Most people wear tampons when their flow is heavy because they don't want to risk what might happen on the pool deck.

I think you are ok to go swimming.
Take a pad in case you need it then just stay out of the water when you have the pad in.
Wait till you are older to wear tampons!!!

You really should use a tampon. It is possible that the water would wash out the blood and then you'd be bleeding in the pool. Water DOES NOT stop a period!

I wouldn't get in the water.
It's because whenever you get wet or submerge 'it' in water, your period will temporarily stop and after you get out of the water and a little later, your period will come back heavier!
