my wife did that... Cravings are your body usually telling you that you are missing something in your diet needed for the development of your child. So usually following them is a good idea. But it can also be brought about by boredom. Many times when you become pregnant you cease doing things you used to. you become less physically active and become bored. Some people compulsively eat when bored.
Also please remember that you are pregnant you will gain anywhere between twenty and thirty five pounds and that's not including the baby. nursing afterwords helps loose the weight along with a balanced diet and exercises. Just please do not starve yourself you have a developing child inside of you and he/she needs nutrients to grow.

If you are honestly hungry: eat. I was hungry a lot too. Just eat healthy foods that are on your pregnancy diet. I followed the Brewer medical diet. I avoided pop, sweets, and fried foods. I still gained 55 pounds with my pregnancy, but I lost 60 afterwards. At 11 weeks along, I had already gained 11 pounds. I had a marginal placenta, so the baby could not get all the nutrients like from a normal placenta. My doctor told me that if I had been watching my weight and not eating right, I would have been high risk for premature labor. Your body knows what you need. Also postpartum I had a thyroid crisis. I had lost 25 pounds by 7 days postpartum. My baby was only 6 lbs. 12 oz.

Besides asking your doctor about this at your next checkup, this is probably no big deal. It sounds like your choices are pretty nutritious, not a lot of junk, so it will all help your baby. If anything you are lucky you have a healthy appetite rather than nasty morning sickness. In fact, eating regularly may be preventing it. The docs will weigh you at each checkup, and if you are truly gaining too much consistently, they will suggest a change. A craving can be due to a deficiency, so take your prenatal vitamins. Thin people need to gain a little more while pregnant than us chubs, so most likely your body has triggered your appetite to assist you in this important task!! Best wishes for you and the baby!

Follow all the signals that your body is giving you. If you lead a very active life, you will find that body automatically is adjusting the growing needs of the baby and yours and sending signals. Choose healthy options and eat.
I had the same symptoms. I was irritated as to how much time I had to spend eating and then suddenly around 13th week It stopped and I came back to my original limit and then around 17th week I cannot even eat as much as I want to because of the baby taking up space.
The demands of pregnancy differs every week and you have to live with it while keeping yourself safe and happy. Good luck.

Well your pregnant for Pete's sake! Have a little compassion on yourself. As far as overeating maybe you should join a pregnancy fitness group. Women who are going through the same thing.

If you are actually eating alot at 11 weeks, then be thankful! I myself am 11 weeks and the thought of food makes me sick. Ive actually lost weight so far instead of gaining it.

Just be thankful you can eat and keep it down! Talk to your doctor at your next visit and try to fill up on healthy things like fruits and vegetables.
