they do it because they don't really appreciate what they have...this seems to diminsh over time for some people. They get bored with themselves and life in general, the internet is a great brewing ground for meeting other lonely crap and hook up. I love my wife and kids and would never go that route...I work to hard in my relationship to let that happen. Hope that answers your question.

I think people have affairs to get what they aren't getting from their spouse. If you feel like you aren't getting enough love, attention, effection, support and so on then some might be tempted to get it else were. Even though they know there is the chance of getting caught and ruining all the good things that you still have in your marriage. There is also the possibility that you won't get caught and you can have everything you think you need to feel happy, loved or what ever it is you feel you are missing.

i have a cheating husband myself ,for 4 month i was searching for the answer of this question but still no answer ,CHEATING is sooooo painful if ur partner does not give you what you expect from marraige either get out or work it out.no need for lies reasons for cheating are a lot responsibility makes life kind of boring having kids , going to your work everyday even family weekends make you bored but this is no excuse as if your new relation get serious you will face again the same boring life ,I really can not imagin fooling arround just for SEX love is more appretiated than sex as this temptation will soon be over and a boring life will still be living.
Life is shorter than you spend it wandering why just know that everything can be forgotten and life must go on.Selfish people do what they can to enjoy themselves without taking care of others feelings.

When I was single, I'd have affairs with married men. They loved their wives, but the wives would not or could not give them the sex they craved. They needed to be told how wonderful they were. Some of the men's wives knew that they were seeing me, and would talk to me occasionally. That way they would know that the husband and I would not get serious. I was only with them for the sex, and I made that clear. Love and sex are two different things.

It all depends on the person doing it.
Can think of a million reasons:
TV and movies show people doing it on the hour...
Magazines talk about it
Romance novels make woman go ga ga over the fantasy of it.
Comedy/Jokes always talks about it.
It all depends on the person, their upbringing, their reaction to the upbringing, and the ability to not only know right or wrong but to take the responsibility of being right or wrong.

because they are selfish and only think of what they can get out of relationships and not think about conciquences of an unplanned pregnancy or issues with hiv or other issues. they have no respect for anyone but themselves. They are also misusing the word love, for they are not taking their vows seriously and they also don't seem to notice that being in love is with one person and one person only

Because people dont have a fear of God!! and dont respect his athority to rule. People dont take being married serious! When you think of marriage there should never ever be and option of divorce. It pisses me off when married men try to holler at me I make then feel so bad they hold their heads down and walk away! Those Bastards and women can be just as nasty, those nasty Bit@#$%^

Some did it for experiment, some did it for temptations and some did it due to finding some more enjoyable sex they can not find from their spouses.

part of it is being unhappy but i guarantee people can make up thousands of reasons why they do it!!!! I had this friend who said she just wants a little excitement in her life so she fools around with any married man just for the drama (needless to say that B**** isn't my friend any more) but this is just one of the stupid examples people make up in there heads. And it doesn't matter if your the one cheating or just the lover either way its bad!!!

sometimes they feel that their spouses don't love them any more and then they go searching in the wrong places for help and love. what they usally don't notice is that it is sometimes lust that they are getting not love. It's sad, but that what goes on in our world today.
