You could use adjectives that end in "ing" by droppin' the "g" like we often do in our lazy way of talkin'. For example (and other ideas):

ailing
amazing
baling
bailing
brazen
craven
graying
paling
quailing
ranting and railing
soaring and sailing
trailing
tailing
weeping and wailing
gay, thin
neighing and braying

clean (not sure of the ending sound of Kahtlen - if it sounds like "leen" clean would work.

Mean would work too.
