These two were dating, a girl on here said she was very offended when her white boyfriend said that and that he "didn't understand" why she was mad.....
I hardly see how that is insulting, I'm Hispanic, if I got some brown or tan icing on me and my white girlfriend said 'hey it matches, it's okay!' I would laugh.
Can someone explain to me? Doesn't it seem a stupid reason to come on Yahoo and complain about your ex? This was one of the ways she tried to make him seem racist....?

For those commenting that they have never seen black icing, here's a blog commenting that they saw it in a store back in 2005.

Looks like we got a troll in here that gave all the common sense answers a 'thumbs down' ... idiot.
Probably the same guy who said 'black' icing is racist... ? Where do these people come from?

Did she get mad because she didn't like her bf breaking her chops, or did she think it was some kind of racist remark?
First of all, they were dating, so it's kind of ridiculous to think it could be racist (plus, the comments are not racist anyway).
However, I have had gf's in the past that would have gotten mad just because I laughed about her getting something on her. In either case, she is just being a jerk.

I think that is just the way society is now. It doesn't really matter if it is a friend or a stranger. I wouldn't worry about it. I live in the country and an stereotyped as a "redneck" although I am not at all like that. True friends show true colors and you need not worry about things like that. Just focus on you and your boyfriend and just be prepared for the stupidity of some of the people in this world to "stare". I am white and have two sons. I honestly would not care if my son brought home a black girl - I would just want to get to know her better because you not only have to deal with friends but also with family. Your relationship is the most important thing and will remain strong (if meant to be) throughout all of the storms of life. Good luck!!

As a white male in my 40's (the demographic that holds the most power in this country), I don't believe I have the right to dictate how people of other races and cultures should respond to comments like the one mentioned. I, personally, get very uncomfortable when white folks assume that I share their racial beliefs simply because I am white.

She is ubersensitive to her race. She is also evidently feeling insecure with her white boyfriend. She is making an issue of race where there wasn't intended to be one.
Hell if I was sunburned and got strawberry icing on me and my bf laughed and said it matches, I would laugh.
As far as black icing, it is chocolate, black people aren't the color black anyway, they are various shades of brown. Actually white people aren't white either, just lighter shades of the same brown.
This race issue is ridiculous.

Ive never seen black icing, but he was probably being sarcastic and she may be really sensitive to racial comments/stereotype etc. If the guy Im seeing, who is white, says that, Id take it as sarcasm, because my skin colour is a little lighter than medium brown.

Because he was cocashin (think thats how you spell it) she probably thought he ment it in a racist way. She seems a little uncertain and uptight. Not every comment about skin colour is racist. I could go to you and say 'Hey, your hispanic' Im not being racist Im stating a fact, would you be offended? If so, your uptight. But you seem not so your cool and know who you are..

I am black and if someone said that to me I would probably say, "and you match with white icing" and laugh hard for a few minutes and see what they'll say.

wow that was a stupid way to complain about her ex being racist. just because he said it matches doesnt mean he thinks its bad. he was probably just joking around. she got mad over nothing. If white icing fell on us an someon said it matches i would laugh with them cuz technically it would match and theyre not saying anything bad about me.

I think she's just being hypersensetitive, maybe she was just having a bad day, obviously her boyfriend isn't rascist or he wouldn't be with her, Some girls just want to complain and when they don't have anything real to complain about they make it up.
