Eminem is going to go down as one of the greatest rappers to ever live. His lyrics are complex, and full of meaning. Then other times there nonsensicle, and funny. He has this great ability to fully express the feelings of the times perfectly in under three minutes.
When he first came out i was just like you, i couldnt stand him because all i listen to was the popular crap of his that was on the radio. I suggest you listen to some of the stuff thats not played on the radio. You'll quickly become a fan, particularly if your not a fan of this silly little war were in now, then listen to mosh.

Yes. Then again, to me, every rapper sucks. You can't understand what they're saying. It's not even music. In music, you sing, you don't talk.

That's cool. I'm sure his fans would disagree. He's not my personal cup of tea, but he certainly knew what he was doing. Lose Yourself, Without Me and Stan are still classics in the rap world.

His act never appealed to me. That takes nothing away from him as a human being, he could be a super good guy, I just don't dig his material.

Honestly I find his songs catchy and meaningful (as well as very personal to him). But as a person, I think he is indeed a 'slim shady' and a person with a dark personality.
