My husband has ALL control of the money, if I work the money goes to him. How can I hire a lawyer without any money. I have tried legal aid, but everywhere I turn for help they go by my husbands income.

They go by his income because they can make him pay for your court costs because you have no income and he is the only provider.

STOP giving him the money that you work for and go to family court and get a PRo Se Divorce meaning do it yourself..you do NOT need a lawyer. I paid $225 filing fee and $90 to have my ex bastard hubby served and thats ALL my divorce cost me.

You need to seek the advice of an attorney, today. Many attorney's listed in your phone book offer free intial consultations. Chances are, your husband would be responsible for the cost of a divorce, not you.
