All Bonds' fans will jump with jubilation. Those, like me, will just have to deal with it.
The visiting team will have to wait until all the hoopla is settled and only then will continue with the game. Let's hope the homer will be the last hit of the game so I won't have to sit and listen to a bunch of stuff and nonsense coming from the broadcast booth.
And, yes I know, I can turn off the TV anytime, thanks. But because I'm not a Giants fan I still want them to lose.
However, if Bonds' homer is the last hit, they win, right!
The commish should be there irrespective of his feelings.
Naturally Bonds will be happy but there's a good chance he'll maintain a low key attitude and hug his wife and kids and all that goes with it.
I'm guessing what won't happen is members of the opposing team prolonging the game by congratulating him like Sosa did when McGwire broke it. Although McGwire was much more liked than Bonds and Sosa was in the homerun race at that time. Sosa showed good sportsmanship.
Hank Aaron was a class act. 100% over Bonds. He still may change his mind and prove he's the bigger man and show up. And if not... I'll still have more respect for "Hammerin' Hank" than I ever will for "Balco Barry".

Giants fans: jubilation, particularly if they win the game.
Visitors: ready for the next pitch. It's all part of the game.
Seligula: something ham-handed and inelegant, probably accompanied by a few mumbled sentences.
Bonds: SOP -- humility, thanks be unto whomever, relief, satisfaction. (Look, this is the standard script, and Bonds isn't stupid enough to get uber-Rickey about it.)
Aaron: will still have 755 HR, 3771 hits, record 2297 RBI, and a bronze plaque in Cooperstown. He has refused to spew venom but likewise has not been congratulatory. Resignation, most likely. It's over, he was #1 for a long while, and that will always be his.
The media: still wanting to pour gasoline on Bonds, matches at the ready.
The haters: booking flights to Egypt so they can swim in denial.

The Giants fans will be jumping for joy.
Barry Bonds will be happy for himself and then yell at the media to get out of his face when some stupid reporter brings up the word steroids
Hank Aaron will just ignore the fact that Barry Bonds just broke his record, and still think he is the true All-Time Home Run lead because he didn't have no steroid controversies when he played.

Giants fans will give him a 10 minute standing ovation and Bonds will give a long curtain call. Selig and Aaron will not be in the same state as the game & the visiting club will not react in any special way. It will be done in SF, though, even if he has to sit out a long road series so he is certain of a positive reaction from fans.

How do you think the visiting team (will react?) – somber yet professional
… and Commissioner Selig will react? – like a car salesman; fake whatever it is
How do you think Bonds himself will react? Relieved, happy, tired
HOW DO YOU THINK HANK AARON WILL REACT? - Relieved, happy, tired

First off Barry Bonds did steroids. He said he took pills from a teammates locker but c'mon, who's going to believe that? If he did that he must not know how to read his head is so big if he sees a book he eats it! Hank Aaron will be like "I'm not your godfather anymore, loser, that's why i paid u 15 mil to shave the records" and Barry with his high voice will say,"I'm sorry i have nothing else but baseball and my friend Alex Rodriguez. help me god!"

Barroid's fans should hold up signs with big ole astericks on them to tell him they know he's a friggin' cheater and will NEVER, EVER, EVER truly beat Hank's record.
Alas, Selig & everyone will make a big deal about that creep's supposed record-breaking feat and act all prim and proper about it.
UGH!!! I DREAD THE DAY!!!!!

Hank won't show, nor will he comment about it.
Bud Selig won't show, because he is to close of friends to Hank Aaron.
The fans in SF will love him no matter what.
My point is--why isn't Selig going to show up when it's his fault too? I mean, he knew about Steroids in the 90's and did nothing...he is an accomplice to this mess.
