No, I believe that everything, after a long while, will return to its original state. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Humans were made out of the dust of the earth, and when we die, we return to that state. I do, however, believe that humans can leave things behind-memories, ideas, deeds, anything they did while they were living. Because we all affect the earth in some way, and by the end of our lives, it is somehow, if ever so slightly, effected by each individual's existence. These affects-memories, ideas that we have from a certain person- are often mistaken to be their actual spirit by those who knew the person while they were alive. So, if you were talking in a super-spiritual sense, you could say yes, spirits do exist because the ideas and memories we leave behind can never be killed. However, "Ghost Hunting" shows, I don't believe they're ghosts...they're either one of two things-really bad attempts at horror or actual cases of supernatural occurrences. The SUPERNATURAL is a whole different story from ghosts- it concerns beings that are beyond life, not natural, but still possessing an extreme presence. I believe in this: demons, which are essentially evil "spirits" that attach themselves to objects, locations, maybe even people (look up some of the most famous demonic possession cases, and you'll find some interesting stuff). That's my opinion on the matter. I feel like people, a lot of the time, question "well why do you believe in 'demons' but not ghosts?" It's not a religious thing for me, its just more about logic and what I personally would define life to be. Just from experiencing it, I highly doubt its possible to fly around and haunt people when I die. However, the possibility that there exists concepts, forces and beings beyond life and nature doesn't seem that far-fetched to me. What reason do humans have to assume the world, the universe, the many universes and dimesnions, were created solely for them? That's like an ordinary person walking into an empty 30-story hotel and assuming every room is for them to sleep in, and not being surprised when the entire building is empty. To outright assume that concepts/beings don't exist beyond life is illogical.

Oh no, no, no, you're not catching me again with that one!
As for ghosts, there may indeed be various phenomena which require explanation but I do not believe in ghosts (as in the generally accepted description). I think what was originally a naive explanation for mysteries too complex for the human mind, has caught people's imagination and been developed over the centuries. If those same phenomena were to occur for the very first time in today's world of research and technology, no doubt we would come up with many other theories before offering "ghost" as an explanation.

Let me assure you that ghosts certainly do exist. I am a Christian myself and I am certain. They are somehow trapped in the existence they are in. It amuses me that so many people think they don't exist - they are possibly just putting their head in the sand. Although I have not seen one myself there are plenty who have - and that is good enough. I also know that most clergy members will acknowledge it. Ghosts are well known for somehow getting into photographs.
I understand from clergymen that they (the ghosts) have to be released by their sins being forgiven. So there is some heavy stuff. Ghosts do exist. I hope this is satisfactory for you.

haha good video, i think I've seen it before though.
i do believe in ghosts though cause there's some at the hotel i work at. There's been some dodgy goings on up there!! Footsteps upstairs when there was no-one else in the hotel. Windows slamming shut when there wasn't even a slight breeze outside.
Grey figures being seen and the room turning ice cold.
Just some examples. Its weird!!

Absolutely. We were told that our house was haunted. We were a bit sceptical.
One day we were walking along the road and I said "Who is that up at the house?"
We both saw an elderly man ,dressed in a brown coat and
wearing a battered Trilby. When we got to the house he was gone.We described him to a person who lived near and they told us that we had seen a previous occupant of our house.
After that we smell tobacco ( neither of us smoke ) and in the
living room we sometimes smell perfume.
There is nothing nasty in the atmosphere at all and the dog watches something come from the kitchen through the living room and out to the hall.

I have never confronted any ghost myself. I have seen though on tv. But mostly to do the coverage. they got camera tricks...who the hell can film a real ghost in a right place and in the right time ? If that's so, the camera crew would have been unconcious before turning on the power button...ha ha ha ...all crappies..

Well, I was all set for the scream but, I forgot to warn my husband down the hall and two rooms away...he came running down to see if I was alright...that was one scary scream !!
I'm hesitant to say I believe in ghosts but, I do believe in spirits..I was in Oklahoma City at the site of the bombing a year after and could feel the spirits all around me. Very eerie...
