Cosmetic manufacturing companies are required to put any and all warning facts on containers. It would depend on the "active" ingredients in the cream. Check your jar/bottle. It should be fine, but companies create all kinds of crazy stuff these days. Fortunately the FDA is monitoring them.

There are some acne preparations you should not use when pregnant or nursing.
If there is any doubt in your mind ask your pharmacist or doctor before using.
This is a time to be extra careful with what you put onto your body as well as into your body.
This was a very good question.
Best wishes with the new baby.

Check this site: http://www.kellymom.com/health/index.html . There's also a book out there, called "Medications and Mother's Milk" by Dr. Hale. Ask your prescribing dr to check the book. You can also ask your local La Leche League Leader (www.lalecheleague.org)- they offer free breastfeeding advice/support/info and all leaders have a copy of the book.
