Ya what they have gotten finished so far on the show looks awsome. I won't look at any websites to see the finished product. I want to see it on the show.

I like old school rusty a*s parts found in old sheds. People would think I was some sort of credit card biker if I rode one of those....but, I have to say this. Those bikes they build ARE bad a**. People that talk sh*t about them are just trying to get on some sort of band wagon. The truth is that if OCC showed up at 1000 peoples homes and offered them a bike, not one of them would be able to hold back tears of joy. So they don't make their own tanks all the time. get over it..They want the best and they won't settle for anything less. If I go to the doctor, he may need to send me to a specialist. That's how it works when you are building better bikes than the world has ever seen.

The hokey extras they put on the theme bikes are kind of cool. The bikes themselves are just cookie cutter choppers. There are rarely anything new about them. And their production bikes look like crap. While working at a harley dealership I talked with a guy who got his bike raked out by OCC. While driving down the highway the weld broke and almost killed the guy. I don't know how he lived. I hear their bikes break down a lot too. But I've never ridden one so that is just hearsay. But I know for a fact those theme bikes are mostly cookie cutter bikes with a few homemade extras.
And that one guy is right, they send out a lot of stuff to get custom made.
West Coast is more fun to watch. Jessie James actually makes everything by hand. That is something to watch.
And the discovery channel actually tells them to act the way they do to help ratings. Personally, I would rather see more bikes and less family fighting.

OCC does build some sweet motorcycles. BUT there are other builders who build bikes that are just as nice that aren't on tv getting publicity. They don't build motorcycles for big company's with what is essentially an unlimited budget. These guys work out of garages or small shops and use "old school" or basic hand tools. They turn out beautiful works of art on wheels and not just theme bikes.

OCC is just like every other "customizer" on tv. They sold out and now are not pushing the limits. They use the same basic frame, same seating position, same engine, slap a big wheel on the back, pay other companies to give them parts, frames, engine, paint, lights, saddle. They bolt it together and sell it for way to much. My respect goes to the shops that actually build in house. Cut and bend sheet metal for the love of doing it not to hide a mistake. (taking a fender from J&P cycle catalog and cutting it and then hammering it is not fabricating) The show is depressing and I stopped watching after the 1st season. Lets see typical show, Dad gets mad at Mike and curses, Gets mad at Junior and curses.... yelling insues. Meanwhile the other 2 guys actually bolt the bike together. Jr comes in torques a bolt starts bike, talks about how much he put into crafting this bike. Next show same thing different paint job.

These bikes are starting to look retarted.
This is a perfect example of retardation setting in at O.C.C.
Who is ever going to want a bike like that?
It is heavy as hell, it's gotta be awkward to drive.
Those big front tires look better but the forks and headlight look waaaaay to big for the bike.
I am really getting sick of the look that Paully puts out. If I had access to the metal shop, ewt jet, and all the other high dollar tools there would be a lot better looking theme bikes rolling out of O.C.C.
Besides that - I think Vinni deserves more than he gets, as far as I see he is the builder, Pauly is hardly ever there.

Crap? Maybe. Anything put together with improper tools is suspect. (Unibits & hammers) And any shop that says "I don't care if he likes it"(Jay Leno's bike) won't build a bike for me. They have a few ideas, and do some "glitzy" stuff, but who are they really trying to please? Not us, but the TV audience, who normally wouldn't see a motorcycle until they ran over it.

I do. It's all crap. He farms out all the cool parts of the bike. Not too mention they never talk about how those things break down and are always in the shop. Those guys are morons.
