no...NO!!!
but you can use to affirmations, they are very powerful as they change our subconscoious beliefs (errors in belief)..
if you use the affirmation as often as you can, you could see a difference within a month..
simply repeat as often as you can:
I am a worthwhile person,
or I am worthy of love.
actually this is very important & many people have a problem with this but don't know it within themsleves...
thank you for your question, as you have reminded me that I need to deal wih this issue also...

A supplement, as in a pill? There are antidepressants, that may or may not work, but always have side effects.
I recommend personal therapy, or doing things to alleviate your depression.

Service to others is the one I recommend. Think of something you can do easily that you are very talented in doing. Find a way you can help others using this talent and give your time and effort for the cause. It helps.

I also recommend a good fitness plan. If your body is healthy, your brain will naturally fight feelings of anhedonia (worthlessness and blah).

Yes! Abandonment! I understand a large majority of people have been, and continue to be abandoned by parents. I can think of nothing more cruel or hurtful you can do to a child by deserting them, leaving them to fend for themselves. Abandoning them as though they were nothing. Out of site, out of mind! People who do this have no idea at all what a life time of pain and harm and struggles with self worth children suffer from. The ultimate act of selfishness (beside suicide) you can do is walk away from the responsibility of the life you help make. The hate and resentment and torture haunts the child and retards potential and growth and natural affection towards others all the days of your life. Bitterness ,self doubt, feeling unworthy, unloved, unappreciated by others and the whole world. I can not, nor will I ever understand how some people can do this. If you are one these people reading this right now, I hope you feel shame and remorse, and I hope you find the ones you cast aside like a piece of trash, and you tell them you are sorry! Those words heal and mend like no other.

There is nothing wrong in feeling worthless if the feeling comes from introspection and meditation. If the feeling is a result of some person having hurt your ego/feelings then it is a state of mind - also normal ...everyone goes thru these phases in life. Don't worry you will come out of this miserable mood very soon ... just look for diversions and find an outlet for your energy. Consider Yoga and aerobics... do not take any medication ...

Taking a balanced vitamin can help improve health and overall well being but for specific feelings of worthlessness you need something other than a pill. Spend time with family or friends or do something you enjoy. It might help to sit down and write a list of all of the good things about yourself that you can refer back to when you're feeling down like this.

Hmm, sounds like homeopathy's the way to go. But more than that you'd need some form of help to re-programme the way you think, i'd try and find a therapy you can feel comfortable with x

I see a number of people suggesting homeopathy, it's worth checking out.
A similar route to take is Bach Flower Remedys. They are energetic medicine that you just put a couple of drops in your beverages and they really work well. I like Bach Flower Remedies because they are readily available at many health food stores and you don't have to alter your diet at all to use them.
Good luck!
