From Charlotte NC the speed limit is normally 45. 35 in School Zones, 65 on the major highways.

speed limit here on major highway is 65 mph, which basically means the average motorist are traveling more like 75 to 80 mph. lol
I remember living in calif when the freeway speed limit used to be 55 mph for quit a long time..then when the state increased to 65, that was considered a major victory for calif motorist. :)

Well, the posted speed limit where I live is 55 mph. That translates to about 80 mph in real time.

I'm rite off 301/Crain Highway in MD, and the speed limit is 55mph.

On the interstate, it is 70 in most places, except where they are working, then it is 60. On the highway, it is usually 45 - 55.
