I am not a Cubs fan at all but I think it'd be great for Mark Cuban to buy them. What do you think?

I'm not a Cubs fan, but I think it would be awesome if Cuban was the owner of the Cubs. I can picture him now, running out onto the field and yelling at the umpire. He did control his temper at the Mavericks game this season, simply because the league had asked him to and he did. He's done wonders for the Mavs, yes I know, no title yet, but it'll be there soon enough. Cuban would be great for the Cubs.

As a die hard Cubbies fan I would love to see Mark Cuban buy the Cubs. He would do anything to make sure he put a consistant winner on the field. Will it happen, I would say no because I don't see MLB team owners approving the sale to him becasue of the way he manages the Mavericks of the NBA. In my oppinion the team owners need to get over themselves and allow this happen it would be good for the Cubs and MLB.

I also think it would be great, but don't think it's going to happen. I've heard that the White Sox are working on getting investors together to buy the Cubs, mainly because they are afraid of what Cuban will do to improve the Cubbies.

Wouldn't it be great to see Cuban sitting in the front row, and then running out on the field to argue with the umps?!?!?

it would be great if the cubs could get him....when u look at baseball the only owner you know is steinbrenner and cuban would raise some eyebrows...from a cubs perspective...they would have the money and an owner willing to spend to go out and get...players would want to come to play for him..and you would have pinella and cuban working with the same group...what an amazing duo

Won't happen. Major League Baseball is like a country club. If they don't like you then you won't be able to join the club. When he joined the NBA only one owner voted against him to buy Dallas. That owner told David Stern "This guy is going to be a pain in the rear." Well he was a pain in the rear of David Stern and that owner was Jerry Reinsdorf. Also remember that Cuban hasn't won a thing yet.

He's crazy! First he says he wants to start his own football league (which will suffer the same fate as XFL). Now he wants to buy the Cubs? He sent an application to the Cubs organization but I know he won't get the job.

He would make them a consistent winner and would be like Steinbrenner with money not an issue. The fans would love him in Chicago by I don't believe it will ever happen.
