Very good, I'm serious this is a big step and also a tough one. Now that you have admitted this to yourself, now you need to forgive yourself for doing it and start to correct it. I think you could tell me that you are enjoying thinking negative until you turn blue, but I will never believe that. This is very destructive but easy to do, really though it is just a bad habit that you have developed (actually when you started this it was a tool that you were using to try to get your needs met but it doesn't work anymore), like all bad habits it takes practice and it will eventually stop being a part of you.
I did this too it seems imposable at first but it will get easier. If it did help before it won't help you now I think you should look into Cognitive Behavioral Therapy I am not one to recommend treatments usually but I did go to this and it was by far the best if not only program that helped me. This therapy is not all about diagnoses and medications but rather in reconizeing how we feel and puts you in control of your thoughts and feelings with open mindedness and rational thinking. I see a lot of similar traits so I think it could help if you want to.
Admit, forgive, correct is the key to unlock your troubles like I said everything takes practice and effort to do, and nothing great comes easy. So start today.

First of all, are you sure you enjoy it?
Secondly, is it like these thoughts are constantly coming at you in a loop and you are going over them and trying to find solutions to things or are they thoughts where you are trying to harm yourself?
If it is the first, they could be symptoms of anxiety.
If it is the second, they could be symptoms of depression and anxiety.
Try getting some therapy. I was doing the same sh*t and therapy helped me. I have had Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and depression for years.

You need to, 'get over yourself'...enjoying thinking bad things, is one of the most unhealthy things I have ever heard....if you know that this is wrong,..then you must snap out of it, and change your ways, which you DO have the power to do...this is a defeatist attitude, and an 'excuse' for not moving forward..I know you are an intellegent person, and have common sense...but this is the ultimate self betrayal, if you ask me
