I am a new car owner and have some questions regarding parking.

1) If the wheels are not streight when the car is parked, does it affect the wheel alignment?
2) If the car is parked such that the left and right sides of the car are not at the same level (slanted) does it do any harm?

In the second point, I should have used the word tilted instead of slanted. I meant when the car is parked streight, but is tilted to one side due to uneven surface.

It does not affect the alignment one bit if you park without straightening the wheels. If the car is not parked level it won't make a difference unless it is left there for weeks or if you were to park in exactly the same place every day. In that case the spring/struts on the lower side would start to sag.

uhm it would do harm to the body of your car if it is parked slanted b/c someone might hit it when they are parking or when opening the door, so if you are just learning how to park and park crooked try to park away from cars :)
