Why? Yes of course...but not that much trouble!!! But you do have a problem. Suppose after an accident, or a fight between some guys perhap, one would lay in his own blood in the middle of somewhere !! So if you go right in the middle to help, and if the cops caught you right there, they would take you to interrogate. But as you are not the real culprit, you can tell the cops that you are not the one, and you are just trying to help an injured person without fear, without trembling. But if the real culprit is caught, he will not be able to face the cops. His will be shy ridden, unable to answer, shaken all over and so on. So why worry ? Good deeds sometimes helps...Go on...do a good deed in your life..We live once...therefore...help once..if you can..!!!

You know the saying, "No good deed goes unpunished."

Even good deeds can backfire - so just make sure you do it from the heart, that your motives are well-intentioned. Don't offer advice, unless it's asked for. And be prepared - what you think is a good deed, someone else might not.

I remember finding an empty (of money) wallet on the street -with ID. When I went to the person's house to return the wallet - she accused me of stealing it from her on the street.

A couple of weeks ago I went to give blood. The nurse missed the vein, and my arm has been black and blue for two weeks.

So, do your good deeds (it's still important to do them) but do them without expectation that something good will come back to you. Just give from your heart, and your own good feelings will be your reward.

Yes. Stay evil at all times. Good deeds never pay. Not since the mid-eighties.

Yes. I once stopped a guy from bashing his girlfriend (they were both my friends at the time) and soon after they made up I was in the wrong and should have minded my own business. I would still do it again.
