If you've installed Microsoft Photo Editor as an alternative picture editor for Word, you can use it to make the picture any size you want. (This procedure may work even if you haven't installed it but I can't be sure.) Assuming you have Word XP (2002) or 2003, here's how to find out if you have:

1. Click on the Tools->Options menu item.
2. Click on the General tab.
3. The editor should show up as one of two or more entries in the Picture Editor list box.
4. If it's not there, go back to your Office Installation CD and see if you can install it as such.

When or if you can use it, do this:

1. Paste the picture into Word.
2. Double-click on the picture. Photo editor should open a dialog box with several tabs.
3. Select the Size tab.
4. There are the controls you need to make the picture bigger or smaller.

That should do it.
