I was eating some Asda's own brand NICE biscuits and found a piece of string, took it back and they asked me if i wanted a refund! The biscuits only cost me 20 pence! I ended up with £5!

And i once had a big bar of cadburys fruit and nut and found a large piece of wood in it!

What have you found?

i have found a toe nail in a packet of porridge from tescos i complainted and sent the item to there factory they were suprised but i got a £10 gift voucher for telling them the porridge was only 47pence, also some years back i bought a jar of garlic mayonaise it was bad and out of date so i wrote to the company what was on the jar with the jar enclosed with the letter a week later i had a hamper filled up with all types of products they did, its worth shouting your rights after all when i was younger in the 1950s we didnt have shody workmanship like today.

I often find bits of stem in tinned green beans, and have found little green worms in a salad in a restaurant, but got no refund, which I thought was horrid.

I also found an earwig in a head of celery the other day when I was cleaning it...jumped about a foot!

One time, my sister was eating a box of Nerds and a screw head, about the size of a Nerd, popped out. If she had eaten eat and not looked, she never would have known. We got so pissed off we mailed the box and the screw to Willy Wonka and his crazy company. Ha!

Then, another time, my dad found a thumbtack in his ice cream at a restaurant. My family has a bad history with that sort of thing.

I'm sorry about your unfortunate experiences, too.

I had a big black ant in my chocolate milk...once...
My mom has the ultimate find though, she opened a can of creamed corn and found, part of a finger in it.... this is when I was a kid, but I can still recall the screams..... the company wanted to send her a complimentary box of 24 cans of creamed corn, but my mom refused,so instead they gave her a voucher for one hundred dollars, for groceries, and I have never wanted to eat, that gunk again.

The weirdest thing I've found was a receipt baked into the base of a pizza. And even better was the waitresses comment that she was sure it was a CLEAN receipt... She couldn't understand why I wanted to send the pizza back.
