To date the only state that has legalized same sex marriage is Massachusetts, where it has been legal for years now. The sky has not fallen.
Most things begin in Massachusetts even the United States itself, so we can assume this basic human right will spread throughout the country. California and New York will be next.
The sad thing is that in some states, they say "My marriage is better than your marriage." or "If we legalize gay marriage it undermines or diminishes the importance of MY marriage."
These are usually people like David Vitter (R) of Louisiana. People who have something to hide in their own marriages, and try to deflect their own moral shortcomings.
Same sex marriage has existed for thousands of years and will continue for thousands of years. It only natural.

Hell no.. we even had the Amendment passed that prohibits anything SIMILAR.. so all the companies that offered benefits for same sex couples were FORCED to stop them.. So, now not only is it not legal, but our constitution has a bias built in.
