Keeping Bonderman,Young,Bedard and James will give you a solid core to start with, I agree with whoever suggested throwing back the closers, even though you do have a great one in Putz. As for hitters Fielder, Harris and Guillen are who I would keep from that group.

Although it is good you are in first place now, that is not really important for determining your keepers for next year.

Position player keepers:: Prince Fielder, Carlos Guillen

Pitcher keepers: Jeremy Bonderman, Eric Bedard, Chris Young, JJ Putz, Chris Ray

Realizing this is a 16-team league (as compared to a normal 12-team league) most of your position players are fairly interchangable with others that would be available. Two of your better remaing position players will lose their extra position eligibility next year so they will be somewhat less valuable; I do not see Glaus playing short this year nor see Teahan playing third.

Concentrate on pitching first and protect; Bonderman, Young, Putz, and Ray. I would protect these position players; Guillen, Cuddyer, and Fielder. Looks like a great start for next year.

definitely fielder, hes a must have, glaus, guilen, cuddyer, victorino, Bedard who is one of he best pitchers in the league. Could have more wins if h was on a better team. and Putz, he is arguably the best closer in the whole majors right now. That's who i would chose. Good luck

Your in first with that team?? Is it a one team league ?

I never keep closers as they come and go every year.

Bedard, Bonderman, Young, Fielder, Duncan, Teahen, and Guillen

You have a well balanced team except for the pitching. Robertson and Verlander are pitching well for the Tigers but you need a guy who will get you16-20 wins a season! As for your outfield, you have some young talent! Justin Morneau is sure to have another breakout season! But im not sure if Jose Lopez is gonna cut it at 2nd base and McCann behind the plate. I give your team a 7! GOOD LUCK!
