Well as most of you prob no,i have been trying to conceive for about 8 months.I am 9 days late for my period.
I took a HPT 5 days ago & it was neg.So i took 1 the next morning & it was positive.That day i went to the doctor & had another hpt & it was neg.
I waited a few days & took another 1 today.It was positive.I have Sore boobs And some lower back pain.
Do you think i may be pregnant??
Serious answers please.!

No when i went to the doctor it was just a pregnancy test not a blood test.

Fingers crossed you are! If you are not normally 9 days late for your period and you have had more than 1 positive, then I would say you are more than likely pregnant.
Wait another 5 days or so for your hormones to reach a higher level, then test again with the middle stream of your first morning wee as this has the highest content of the hormone the test is testing for. (by middle stream I mean, wee a little bit ,then pee on test or into little cup, then finish wee. gross and hard i know but works)
Sore boobs is a good indication, but not if you normally get this around the time you get your period anyway.

P.S. My doctor said to me with my first preg. "a positive is as positive ss a positive", as a certain hormone only found in pregnancy is detected.

When you went to the doctor was it a blood test that turned out negative...if so you aren't pregnant.
If it was a regular hpt type test that was negative at the doctors, you probably are pregnant because it is rare to get a false positive. And the positive test was a few days after the negative test at the drs.
Take one more to be sure OR get a blood test done.
Any positive, is a positive.

I would explain to the doctor what is going on and ask for a pregnancy test there. If the urine test doesn't work ask for a blood test. This is the most accurate test.
But if a HPT came out positive chances are that you are preg. There is no chance of a false positive, only false negative.
I hope that it's a positive for you! But if not, don't be discouraged. Babies are a gift and it will happen at the right time...relax and enjoy yourself!

Wow I wish all the best of luck to you seems like to me you are pregnant if the test came back pos. I wish I was in your shoes, I'm 17 days late I took test when I was 10 days late and it was neg but I keep getting like crazy head ache feeling faint boobs don't hurt but nipples do from time to time anyway this is about u Congrats!

you could be maybe your hormones are low and isn't showing up yet but wait another week then take it and if you are go to the doc again it might have been too early,everybody body is different good luck to you I'm also in the process of trying to conceive

take one again tommorrow morning and u wil get the answer, if it shows positve than yes u have done it.. and if no than try again...u r in que..
