Too nice is when you start becomming self-sacrificing, when you put others needs ahead of yours. You are just as valuable and important a person as anyone out there. So neglecting yourself is no better that neglecting someone else. Self-sacrifice is not noble, contrary to poplular belief.
Help people because you want to help them, not because you're supposed to or because you're a bad guy if you don't.

I guess you can be too nice. You have to know when people are using you. You have to know when to say no. You also need to make sure you are happy. I'm sure you are happy when you make other people happy but you need to make sure you are happy at the same time because being happy is healthy. I'm not saying you are unhappy or unhealthy, just keep yourself in mind when you are pleasing all of these people. I guess the only tip I have for a nice guy is know when you are being used and when you are really appreciated!

Well..... I think it is better to be too nice than to be any other way. But it shouldn't trouble you. Why does it? How do you want to be remembered by your friends?? Do you feel that your "niceness" is taken for granted? or not appreciated? Never do anything that will make you angry with yourself later. Don't let anyone manipulate you in any way. Don't agree to something that you have misgivings about. Giving people are greatly admired by others. Example: Elvis Prestly, Mother Teresa, they make the world a better place because of them. Jesus Christ was more than nice.

Absolutely and in the long run they do not respect you in fact you tend to end up been treated like a door mat. People just use you and take from you all the time. So get mad find the middle ground you will like yourself a lot better.Because that is all mr.nice guy is ,A way to get people to like you without you even knowing you are doing this.

No. No way. Stay that way. If someone doesn't appreciate
you, you can at least feel good about yourself. I don't even
mind being used. It's when I start getting miss used that I
pull back. Don't let yourself be miss used and hang in there.
Good luck.

As long as you are not allowing people to use you I don't see anything wrong with being nice.
Make sure others help you out at times too. Don't be afraid to ask when you need it.

I think there is definitely too nice if you are putting other's needs before yours all the time... If it's your nature and you don't miss out from it though, then it's a great trait to have :-)
