It maybe just a case of cystitis or thrush, which happens sometimes when you use tampons, drink plenty of fluids, cranberry juice is the best to dilute the urine making it less acidic which will stop it burning and flush you out

I get that sometimes, too. Usually drinking more water will help. If it's really bad pain, it could be endometriosis. I've had that too. When I did have endometriosis, my bladder hurt soooooo bad, I'd be on the floor in pain. But the pain I get now is just mild and goes away. You do need to drink more water around your period time because you bloat up-- meaning your body tissues "steal" the water that would normally go through your bladder, so your bladder doesn't get enough water around period time, which can cause pain.
