Of course it is, i used it all the time whilst i was pregnant.

The only thing with tanning you are advised against is going on sunbeds as this could affect the baby with radiation, could cause alot of damage.

Fake tan is fine and makes you look good, feel good and because you are doing all the hard work, you deserve it, pamper yourself while you have me time because when littlen comes along you will not have time, enjoy sweetie!!

Reviewing the responses above if you have any queries about using fake tan, then try testing on a small area of your skin for 24 hours to see if any reaction occurs, if you are not sure then you decide if you are going to use the tanning lotion or not, but do not be deterred for the advice given as every person is different and may or may not react.

I know a girl who used it 4 weeks ago and ended up in hospital as she reacted badly to the ingredients in it. Im sure these reactions are rare and she isnt pregnant just thought if I told you about it then you can make an informed descision. Perhaps you could just be sensible and do a small test patch, leave it for 24 hours and see if it suits your skin type (as dont forget we have much more sensitive skin when we are pregnant...I for one break out in Ezcema that i never get unless im pregnant) Alternatively maybe you could go for one with natural ingredients, although im unsure as toi how effective these ones are. Goodluck

im trained in st tropez fake tan, and yes it is safe to use but plz ensure you do a patch test for 24 hrs before you apply because pregnacy does a lot of changing to your body and there have been many cases of people who used it before with no problems and wen they became pregnant they could not wear it cos it agrivated their skin. im 20 weeks with my first, and as i worked for st tropez know the risks, i did a test and was fine so im no tanned up and feeling fab!! but plz dont just assume cos you've worn it before it will be ok cos once its on its going to be on for at least a week
but this will not bring any harm to your baby!!
good luck

I think it is better to abstain from tanners while pregnant. First, it gets absorbed into the skin and no one knows what the effects on the baby might be. Second, you don't know how your skin will react to it - pergnant skin is more sensitive. Third, you have to put it evenly which might be difficult with big belly and such. So for a while, we'd better be snow-white and beautiful. :-)

Of course! It only tints the top layer of your skin - doesn't go into the bloodstream or anything. If it did, it would be a drug and not available over the counter!!

Slap it on girl and make yourself feel gorgeous! You deserve it.
