No, AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition won't protect you from spyware.

AVG Anti-Spyware Free Edition 7.5 will though. You can download that from:

anti-virus programs van only protect u frm viruses.Windows defender is free to download and it will protect u frm spyware

You can see http://anti-virus-software-review.toptenreviews.com/ that it does a decent job of viruses, byt spyware is not it's strong suit. You'll need a spyware program for that.

no...it only protects you from viruses......if you want protection from all threats try the Trial Version 7.5 or better yet Panda iNTERNET Security 2008

no!... avg is not suitable and not effective especially when it is not updated. Better use node32 anti virus...

no it cant, install Winpatrol and AdAdware 2007 for your computer, you should be safe
