No. They enter a community saying they'll bring new jobs, but in a couple of years, many local businesses have closed, & there are fewer jobs in the community. In some places, the residents of a town will start their own co-op, & meet or beat WalMart's prices. It's totally locally run. What about the experienced workers at the local businesses? WalMart won't hire them--they only want cheap labor. Someone who worked at a hardware store for 15 years won't be hired--he's the guy you'd like to talk to while making a purchase.

Walmart is the reason my grandfather is dead. I hate Walmart and hope they all meet a horrible demise. My grandfather was put out of business by the Walmart in our town when it opened. It trampled over his livelihood like a blitzkrieging juggernaut, leaving him dead by his own hand in its wake. So, no, I do not like Walmart...

i spend way to much when i go to walmart, i see things i didn't even know i needed, the trick is go in with a list look straight ahead and never stray from your course and take in limited money

I love Walmart. You can get the best deals on things like laundry soap and dish washing liquid.....cleaning stuff.

I'd never buy shoes there though.
