Has anyone read the new Iain Banks book?

"The Steep Approach to Garbadale"?
I have not read it yet, so please don't give anything away plot-wise - but how is it? I love all his writing and am almost scared to start as I'm afraid of disappointment.
My favourites are "Feersum Enjin" and "The Business"

Iain Banks or Iain M Banks? The Wasp Factory is my favourite - I bought a signed first edition. No, have not read his latest. I enjoy both his genres under both his names. BTW, you can get signed editions of many of his books quite cheaply because he is still relatively unknown (despite his genious!).
