Yes I agree with u.....I think Karthik is more athletic and can keep wickets better than Dhoni......And Dhoni has superb power in his muscles, so if he plays as a pure batsman.....India will be surely benifited from it.....

Dhoni has startedplaying for India as a wicket keeper before Karthik was included in the Team and he has almost become a permanent member of the team. Since Dhoni has not done badly behind the stumps, it will be quite unfair to replace him with Karthik as wicket keeper.

Absolutely.
Karthick is far better Keeper than Dhoni. We have often seen that a missed stumping or a catch causing the match. There is no point in thinking that dhoni cannot field well and sacrificing a better keeper in the process losing a few matches. If karthick can field in great way then why cant Dhoni do reasonably well.Because Wicket Keeping is much more important than any fielding position.

The problem I think is that with them both being keepers, only one or the either is selected, not both. If Kartik is included as the keeper, when it comes to the batting order, he would most probably open and we'd need someone like Yuvraj to fill in number 7.

If Dhoni was used as a batsman, he would take the lower order position, and has the power and style to bat well too. But then he is better with the glove too I think. If Dhoni bats and Kartik keeps wicket, it means leaving someone else out, most probably Yuvraj. I don't think we can afford to lose a batsman. And in that area Dhoni and Yuvraj will come out better than Kartik.

Dhoni has improved his keeping very well so it will be decided based on the circumstances if india wants to play four or five bowlers. If india wants five bowlers then not only these two but the place of Yuvraj will also be doubtful. India will have to bench karthik and Yuvraj. And that will be sad any space bowler hardly ever takes more than a couple of wickets even if he is very lucky.

Who else than Sanga knows the burden of keeping, captaining and batting at the same time? Sanga himself is a hugely talented player but he wasn't quite doing well with the bat. I mean he was doing well but not consistently as he should have. After he hung up his gloves in test cricket, he reached the No.1 position fluently. So, his suggestion might work for Dhoni too. But then who do we have as an option? Shah, Dhoni's pet, doesn't seem too impressive. Same can be said about Parthiv and Karthik. I don't know about the other local wicket keepers because I have not been following the IPL religiously.

The fact is that it will greately unsettle Dhoni if wicket keeping is taken off him and he will feel pressurised. But of course, Karthik is one of the best keepers I have seen for a while may be second to Gilchrist and Mcullum

Karthick is good anywhere in the field, whereas Dhoni is good only behind the wicket.
