In the Finder, select your drive and in the Finder menu at the top of the screen, select Get Info. You can also do this with a 2-button mouse by right-clicking on the hard drive and selecting "Get into" from the pop-up menu.

In the info box that pops up, it will tell you how large your drive is, how much data you have on it, and how much data is left (free). The total drive space size is what you're looking for, according to your question.
