I'm trying to copy a project of mine for U.S distribution but don't know what region my Pinnacle Studio 9 burns. I need to know if it will work on U.S NTSC dvd players.

there is a 90% chance it burns region 0 and a 10% chance it burns region 1. i would suggest searching the help files for the term "region"

Try out Windvd, PowerDVD to show you the info. If not then DVD Decrypter should be able to give it to you.

put it into the DVD drive on your laptop and it should tell you which region it is for.

Well one way for sure is to pop it in whatever DVD you want to use and see if it plays.....Hm???
