With almost half of the country for impeachment of Bush, they are trying their hardest to scare you, with their "gut feelings," and such.
It seems that a terrorist attack would be an answer to their prayers, doesn't it?

I have a great story about Bush. I live in a small city. 30,000 people. Bush came here to speak, I am part of a famly contracting and construction company and we were working on a house that day the man came. I had no plans on going and was just wanting to figure out a way to go home because much of the city was closed. When the day ended for us I was driving home and was caught by a policeman to stop because Bush would be driving this way. So I parked my Jimmy and started to walk. I was not far from my home. The policeman told me I could not park there even though I lived seconds away. I told him I just want to go home and take a nap because I have a hell of cold and I could give a damn about GFBUSH. So I got into my car and the policeman smiled and let me not only pass, but he let me drive my car and as I was driving my Jimmy, I was cut off by 3 Limos and to my happiness or not, their was bush waving at people. I was stuck in the middle of the road not knowing what to do. Bush was in clear site, so I did indeed give him the middle finger and he looked at me like he couldnt understand what the middle finger meant. He is an idiot, you should have seen how confused he was when I was in the middle of the road flipping him off! to make a nice story better, as he was speaking, I took a nice nap and slept well knowing that murder saw me flipping him off!!

i think just the opposite, if terror strikes the homeland again, we will blame bush, instead of getting behind him like 9-11
Just in passing I hear people bash this president on a daily basis, I haven't heard anyone say a good thing about him in years (outside the internet). Even my republican friends aren't happy with him. It's hard to believe 26% still support him.

Anything to stay in power, that's for sure. I do think that there will be something happening here at some point. But we don't need Bush and friends to figure that one out.

No, they aren't. They've shown that they would rather do what they think is right than fight for ratings or polls.
He's probably the President LEAST concerned about polls in our history.
Some of his supporters, however might very well be hoping for something to happen to "squelch those democrats".
Political bigotry is the last bastion of the prejudiced in our country. The one area where people don't think to question it if you hate half the country.

Half the country is for impeachment???....says who???....I think a majority of the country see our president under daily attack by his political enemies during a time of war and are disgusted by it......instead of finding some warped angle such as the president is praying for an attack, why don't YOU thank God we haven't been attacked.....if the President wanted us to be attacked why would he have stopped all the attacks that were stopped???.......get a grip!!
