Most people don't WANT to watch. Hence the sedation. Most people aren't really comfortable during the procedure. Hence the sedation. You could ask them to tape it and let you watch it later... Usually people have a twilight sedation, where you're almost awake, but you're pretty dopey.

I assume you mean watched the video console. Lots of people do.
You are normally sedated, but that's for the drs convenience. If you are conscious, then you might ask questions or complain or make comments or whatever.
If you are a female and were sedated to the point that you truly lost consciousness for a while and you were alone (no hubby or mom there), then there is a VERY good chance that someone probably took advantage of you. And I'll bet there were pics of it happening.

LOL, I slept thru mine. They used a bit much in the sedation dept. My wife observed hers. Being medical imaging techs we wouldn't mind watching,lol. Of course the prep is never fun though.

I never gone through this test.
However I have seen it many times for my wife and sis-in-law.
