I think we would perceive the things around us (trees, etc) to be smaller, but the world is still a big place, and it would not seem any smaller.

No. Because we're not all the same size to begin with. We would just have a hard time using the toilet,driving and putting on clothes. No person with Giagantism or dwarfism ever complained about the Earths size. The Earth is big enough for whales to swim in the Oceans.

COOOL question,

I don't think we would perceive the Earth as smaller since we would still be insignificantly small compared to it. However, as a twist to this question I have to ask how much better would the world be if we were a third the size??? We would eat much less, need smaller cars that use less fuel. That 42" plasma TV would be HUGE!!!

OMG I have to ask this question.... :)
