Can anyone help with this maths question?

Find the greatest integer x that atisfies each inequality

8x is less than or equal to 72

I suppose that it is 9 since 8*9=72

You've got to be kidding me. This is soooo easy, but I guess not everyone comprends Math.

Here:

8x is less than or equal to 72

8x <_ 72 (the _ goes under the < sign) I don't know how to do it on the computer.

8........8 (divide both sides by 8)

x <_ 9

Wouldn't that be 9? 8x= 8x9=72....
