i think he should. he has good leadership skills and has shown much during the Natwest series...
he should be kept as ODI captain

I strongly feel that either Sarvan or Chandrapaul should be the Captain of West Indies as Cris Gayle, though got lot of experience, is unable to play responsibly as per the need of the situation.

Yes he has to be the captain because the way he can handle any situation is just awesome.....He is also one of the all rounders in top five!!

Of course Gayle should be west indies he encourage the team members to push forward. when he is captain he play at is best and try to help the WI to victory. Look at the O.D.I in the n power series he and Chanderpaul guide them to victory. Chris Gayle should be WI captain.

It does not matter who Captains the WORST indies. They will be cursed for Kicking out Brian Lara. And Gayle was one who wanted to fight with him. THey kicked him out and forced him to retire

I think he has the ability and the leadership skills for the job, but who is the one in the team who is being unsportsmanlike and talking **** to opposition batsmen, its always Chris Gayle, if he cut that out of his game he would be the only choice in my eye
