You definitely need to see a solicitor. I suggest you ask them to PRODUCE evidence of you actually "blocking" this private road, while you produce time-lapse video of your parking of that space over a week or so.

I am not sure, but, some cities only allow you to park in your garage. That is the way it is where my brother lives. I would check with the city offices, and the police, or sheriff's office. I know here you have to be at least 3 feet from the sidewalk, so check the rules where you live. Good luck.

That seems unfair. See a solicitor for expert advice.
Cant see how they can stop you as its a private road, not council property.
Perhaps have a word with your other neighbours to see if they can support you.
Good Luck

I would suggest calling a solicitor and just get some general advice. It sounds like this guy is just being unreasonable but better be safe than sorry.

you need to check out what city ordinance says, if you arelegally parked according to city laws, then that means that the city planners did their jobs and made the street wide enough, then he hasnt got a leg to stand on

when you goto court take your deeds and take pictures.... you should only have to pay for the court fees which come out to about 30 dollars but if its all on him then it should be his fee... and if you could afford it try and sue him back with a lawyer or public defender

It seems it will be an expensive and pointless exercise to establish your right to use your own property.
It does seem the topsy-turvey Britain that Labour have created.
