A "bug" is when software is doing something it's not intended to do. For example if you were using your Safari browser and trying to visit the www.apple.com web site and it always took you to the www.microsoft.com website instead (and you knew you didn't have a virus) - that would be a bug.

A bug is simply an error in a computer program. There are times that a bug can cause a big problem to the entire system. Do not confuse yourself of a bug for a computer virus. A virus is a bug or an intentionally created program but a bug may not be a virus. There are instances that computer scientists accidentally creates a program that can cause harm to other files. The program that can cause damage to other files are what we called viruses. A common bug is just an error in a program but will not cause harm to your computer system files.

It's just a slang word for a "glitch" or "problem". The "bug" itself isn't a physical entity, but merely a way of describing the fact that there is a problem that the user didn't want. If there's a bug in Safari, you'll know about it!... because Safari will crash ;)

when they speak of a bug they mean (Glitch) its a problem with the way a game or some software was programmed. it may show up as a bad spot in the graphics in some area of the game,or say if you was using a software to calculate numbers and the decimal point is always in the wrong place on a subtraction calculation.this would be a bug in the program.

reformatting will delete ALL your files and even your operating system. before doing this, be sure to have all your discs (your windows disc, your motherboard's disc, etc.) you will need to re install everything after reformatting. so you will need to back up first all important files before you do reformat. have you tried "system restore"? in XP, its in start>help>undo changes to your computer with system restore....... it will restore your computer settings from a previous date.... i recommend you do this first before really opting to reformat your pc

It is a virus and you need to have a anti virus program installed to prevent this and to remove it. The program will tell you how to do it.
