I am shipping my car from California to Florida. I've been searching for car shipping companies, but mostly all of them are a bit pricey. Do you guys know any car shipping companies that are cheap or reasonable in price that provide door to door service??

You really get what you pay for. Most auto shipping companies use independent truckers to move their cars. They really have no control over their schedules or drivers. Trying to find the cheapest will get you just that...cheap service, poor communication, problems if you have a claim, etc.
I spent over 35 years in the transpotation industry and owned my own car hauling biz for three years. I quit the auto hauling when the rates got so low I couldn't offer good service to my customers and still make a decent living.

It is true that you get what you pay for. And what you're paying for is shipping a vehicle 2,000 miles so expect a price that fits the service. A1 Auto Transport is on the affordable side if you need cross country shipping, but you need to be realistic about what you're getting into here. If you find a company to ship your car for less than $500, my guess is you've created more problems than you've solved.

if you can find someone who is trying to fill a load, or backhauling that would be the ticket you might try online, Ive done it but I know alot of people in the biz, you might find a go between, or broker if you will, again online sorry I dont have time to help you, ask around about what I just told you, ask these companies when they have a rig going your way, you dont know until you inquire

Rent a U-haul trailer and tow it there yourself.
